Total cooking capacity with ten (10) sliding meat racks = 52 square feet.  This Gator functions

and cooks low and slow or hot and fast. Gator’s unique internal design makes this cooker

smoke meat just like a traditional Offset pipe smoker, using real wood pellets.  But, offers a

large cooking capacity in a smaller footprint.


Two door smoking chamber is made from new 1/4" thick wall carbon steel plate. One threaded Probe Port for wired devices. Run multiple wires through one port. Ten angle-framed sliding food trays 30" deep x 25" wide are constructed with 3/4” angle for extra support and no sagging. Approx. 6" clearance between trays, Two commercial 3" dial stainless steel temperature gauges (one each door), Commercial stainless steel cool-touch handles on food chamber doors and firebox door, Front door is 1/4" thick wall carbon steel plate, fully flanged to keep heat and smoke in the pit, Dual large 6” x 6” Birdhouse adjustable smoke stacks with stainless steel cool-touch handles. Thick 11 gauge removable grease pan. Thick 11 gauge removable heat shield over lower stainless steel firepots. 2" drain located on the bottom to easily drain and clean out. You can opt and add our large 2” brass ball valve to easily open and close the drain with less mess. ¼ turn opens the drain.  No threaded cap to remove.


Heavy duty side handles for pushing/pulling pit and for strapping down to secure on a trailer, Heavy duty commercial all-weather 8” casters (two locking swivels/two rigid). You can opt and add the ½” folding D-rings at four corners. Recommended to add this option on any cooker that is being shipped or picked up.

PID Description Overview


Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control is the most common control algorithm used in industry and has been universally accepted in industrial control. The popularity of PID controllers can be attributed partly to their robust performance in a wide range of operating conditions and partly to their functional simplicity, which allows engineers to operate them in a simple, straightforward manner.


As the name suggests, PID algorithm consists of three basic coefficients; proportional, integral and derivative which are varied to get optimal response. Closed loop systems, the theory of classical PID and the effects of tuning a closed loop control system are discussed in this paper.
