must retain your receipt of purchase and provide this proof of purchase for
warranty purposes. NO EXCEPTIONS. It is strongly recommended that you read and follow the owner’s manual that came with your backyard pit or tailgating pit. GATOR PIT® Shipping/Order Policy GATOR PIT of Texas, LP will strive to insure prompt delivery of all of our products. Our products are shipped using such carriers as: Central Transportation, Roadway Express, Watkins Motor Lines, Over-nite Transportation, Central Transport International, Pilot, UPS, Fed Ex and many other carriers that we have established accounts with. Most deliveries are 3-10 business days from the date shipped, however, we can not guarantee a specific delivery date. We will offer the lowest shipping rate to you, unless you specify otherwise. The product and shipping costs are paid at the time of order. There are no refunds on custom ordered products. All products are inspected by GATOR PIT to insure quality of the product before pickup or shipment. Shipped products are packaged to ensure the protection from damage that could occur during shipping. If your pit arrives damaged, refuse delivery, list on the paper work the reason for refusal, and have it sent back to GATOR PIT. Please notify GATOR PIT immediately. We will take appropriate action with the shipping company, repairs, and getting the pit shipped back to you. We can ship our trailer pits anywhere in the Continental United States and abroad. Most trailer pits are either towed or loaded on a carrier and delivered to your destination. We have an account with a carrier that personally deliveries the trailer pits to you. Rates are reasonable and are usually lower than our competitors. You not only save on our affordable pits, but save on shipping costs. Storage fees may apply on completed orders ready for pickup or shipping, if there is an unreasonable time of pickup or delivery due to the customer. You will not be charged any storage fees if arrangements have been made for delayed pickup or delivery. You will not be charged any storage fees without first being notified that storage fees will begin on a specified date. This policy is due to past orders that were timely completed and ready for pickup or shipping, however, the customer delayed months before actually picking up or requesting shipping. If shipment has been scheduled through Gator Pit, and is later canceled by the customer, there will be a $75.00 cancellation fee. Our Shipper will be happy to deliver your pit in the Houston area. Delivery fees start at $175.00. Fee depends on destination and size of your order. Delivery does not include "Placement" of the pit in your yard. Placement is defined as setting the pit up in your backyard or other area. Delivery is to your residence or business driveway. If "Special Delivery" is required, customer incurs any and all additional shipping costs to have the item delivered. Special Delivery is defined as circumstances that require the shipper to utilize trucks or other special equipment not standard in delivery in order to deliver the product to the customer's destination. Example of Special Delivery: A road or drive that is inaccessible for a Shipper's standard delivery truck. Contact us for more details on delivery options. We DO NOT recommend customers arrange their own shipping carrier due to the nature of our products. There are few carriers that can handle the type of products we ship. If a customer does arrange for his own carrier, Gator Pit is NOT responsible for any costs associated with shipping, loading, securing, packaging, or for any shipping damages.
