Gator Pit® Starter Kit

$125.00

Everything you need to season your new Gator Pit® and start cooking.

Kit includes: 2 pounds of TexasBBQRub's original rub/seasoning and 5 ounce shaker bottle of Texas Grilling Magic, Texas Pepper Jelly's Pineapple Habanera and Berry Medley Jalapeno Jelly, BBQ gloves, Meat thermometer, Stick Lighter, Charcoal Chimney with 4 pounds of charcoal, 24 ounce spray bottle and peanut oil, Three cloth towels, Instructions on how to season your new pit. Everything easily stores in a 5 gallon bucket. Bucket can be used as a grease bucket.

No need to worry about how to season your new BBQ pit or what tools you need to get started cooking. Everything you need comes in a 5 gallon storage bucket. We can ship with your pit or you can pick up at our facility. This kit saves you time running around town finding everything you need for your new pit.

Cooking Woods

50 pound bags of real cooking/smoking woods available at our facility. Oak, Pecan, Hickory, and Mesquite woods. We can ship with your pit order. You can purchase and pick up at our facility here in Houston. Only $20.00 for 50 pounds of cut/split and bagged wood. Contact us for more information on availability. Gator Pit Rib Rack Holders™

*Photos above are shown on a a 38" diameter x 8' long horizontal double door chamber. What would normally hold 8-10 pork spares on one meat tray can now hold 26-28 racks of pork spares on that same meat tray. More if Baby Backs.

Gator Pit Rib® Rack Holders: Increase your rib rack capacity of your pit. Various options available. Full meat tray, half meat tray, quarter meat tray, or specify the number of holders you want. Quantity of holders per meat rack are limited to size of tray. Gator Pit recommends having the standard meat tray and ordering a second meat tray with Rib Rack Holders full or quarter. We can custom fit most existing Gator Pits and other brand pits. Price varies on quantity, size of meat rack, etc. Please contact us for specifics.

Gator Pit Custom-Made Wood Storage Rack: Built by Gator Pit. Photo features a 4 foot long x 2 foot deep x 4 foot tall bin. Constructed of heavy-duty 2" angle iron, 3/4" expanded metal bottom and top shelf. Reinforced with 1" side cross bars. Sits approximately 3" off the ground to keep wood dry, dirt free, and bug free. Painted in high heat BBQ black standard. Other colors are available. Top shelf is a great place potted plants for decoration. Order this great accessory with your custom Gator Pit Smoker or Grill. Gator Forks: Designed and heavily-constructed for lifting hot grates and larger meats such as pork butt and brisket. Made of 1/2" thick steel rod with handles and 3/8" fork points. These will not bend or break. Sold as a pair. $45.00.

Wood Pokers Custom-Designed and made by Gator Pit: Designed to easily push, pull, and flip wood logs and ash in your pit. 1/2" thick steel rod, stainless cool-touch handles, hanger ring, and long enough to keep you away from the heat and eye-burning smoke. A must for any pit. Reg. $55.00.

Heavy Duty Charcoal Baskets. Various sizes available. $75.00 and up depending on specs.

Gas log lighter: Custom-made by Gator Pit and uses 1/2" pipe and brass ball valves for easy control. Starting at $180.00.

Propane tank holder (removable and adjustable). $50.00.

Stainless steel temperature gauges: 3” dial bi-metal thermometer with stainless steel case, ½” NPT rear connection, adjustment screw if need to calibrate, and 2 ½” stem. Range 100-475 ^oF. With blue "SMOKE" zone from 100 to 225 ^oF, red "BBQ" zone from 225 to 375 ^oF. Retaining nut included. Ashcroft gauges are available.
