Hey Y'all!
« on: April 02, 2015, 02:45:40 PM »
Haven't posted in a while. It seemed like every time I looked the board was down. I'm glad to set it running, I haven't heard any BBQ smack in a while and I missed you guys. I'm coming up on a cook for Easter - 2 briskets and a whole mess of sausage. My wife gives up eating meat for Lent, so I give up BBQ (except for a run or 2 to a couple of the local joints). Any way, what are ya cooking this weekend?

T-up Gotcha! Doing spare ribs tomorrow - got kids and grandkids coming for supper.  I went in halves with a buddy on a cord of oak for next years cooking. The only seasoned wood around here is in 2 cu ft bags they sell at a local grocery for 15 bucks, or you can buy kiln dried at Academy Sports. its a smaller bag same price.  But now I got wood. 2fun Still trying to find real seasoned wood around here. Any suggestions?
